Flickr.com
Every time I see something so totally cool, and I have nobody to share it with, well, I share it with you. And here goes!
I've been looking for a way to include a photo gallery, or some such thing here on GuyOnTheAir.com. After all, the GuyOnTheAir.com Poll suggests that over 100 people want to see pictures of me, GuyOnTheAir. So, dutifully, I've been looking for simple and easy ways to do it.
And I've stumbled across Flickr.com. No, that's not a misspelling. Flickr is some sort of new photo blogging site. They're still in beta. (As many of you might know, GuyOnTheAir.com is run using Blogger as the background.) Flickr has some great stuff on their site, and the site is being swamped with pictures from the natural disasters occuring in Asia, and whatnot.
But I have to say that my favorite thing on Flickr.com so far has to be this:
This is a group where anyone that joins the group can post a picture. But, in this case, you have to post a picture of the next number in the set. So, if the last number was 27, you have to post a picture with a 28 in it. And the pictures are incredible so far.
Now, once I figure out how to use Flickr more, I'll try to post something, and who knows. I might even use Flickr to post photos of me here on the site!
